About the Tour

The historic town of St Emilion is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the famous Merlots of Bordeaux. The city was mainly built in the 13th century and constructed from sandstone blocks mined under St Emilion. There are 200km of tunnels under the ancient city. Many of these underground tunnels are nowadays used as wine maturation cellars. Join us on this spectacular tour, try some wine and take a walk through – and even under – this famous of Bordeaux regions.
